Here's what we have planned:
- Live music (artist to be announced soon)
- Sand castle building for the kids
- Australian Citizenship Ceremony
- A giant sand sculpture built over three days with final touches revealed on Australia Day
- Children's games and fun
- Albury Award recipients announced
- Australia Day Ambassador guest visit
Can't make it on the day but want to make your mark on Australia? The Australia Day Council invites short film makers and photographers from across the country to get involved with interactive national competitions. Up to $10,000 in prizes to be won, experiences and images featured on the Australian Post Stamp.
Competitions include:
Living Australian: online photography competition
Reel Australia: a short film competition
Local Yarn: written piece and image
To enter, go to www.aussievault.com.au. Albury entries will be showcased on Australia Day at Noreuil Park.

Wodonga's Australia Day celebrations will kick off at 7am in Les Stone Park.
Come and enjoy a barbecue breakfast and welcome our Australia Day Ambassador, Dr Rob Moodie, and new citizens as well as congratulating our deserving Australia Day award winners.
Wodonga's Australia Day celebrations is a free event for the whole family with interactive art and recreational activities, performances by local talents including modern Australian folk pop band The Funkenswinkles, Wodonga Brass Band and Wodonga Primary School choir.
Dr Rob Moodie is Professor of Global Health at the Nossal Institute for Global Health at the University of Melbourne. Between 1998 and 2007 he was the CEO of VicHealth, the Victorian Health Promotion Foundation.
