CHOCOLATE POEDING

 

50g margarine/butter

200 ml sugar/castor sugar

1 egg

250 ml flour

25 ml cocoa

15 ml baking powder

200 ml milk

2 ml salt

 

Mix margarine and sugar

Mix egg in

Beat until light and fluffy

Mix in flour and dry ingredients

Add milk slowly – about 50ml at a time

Pour in deep oven dish

 

Sauce

250 ml water

250 ml brown sugar

25 ml cocoa

5 ml vanilla

(Little brandy for the cook, and if she feels like it – a little for the sauce too)

 

Heat on stove, and boil for few minutes

Pour over dough mixture

Bake for about 30 min at 180˚

Serve with fresh cream or ice cream.
